Lab &
Radiology Ops
The Labs and Radiology modules provide high-fidelity diagnostic evidence. Standardized templates ensure analytical consistency and rapid synthesis.
Diagnostic Lifecycle
Maintaining 100% sample chain-of-custody and analytical precision.
Test Order
Physician request synchronized from EMR consult.
Sample Intake
Standardized phlebotomy and barcode archival.
Synthesis Ops
Laboratory analysis and high-fidelity report generation.
Expert Release
Consultant verification and digital signature.
Lab
Architecture
The LIS (Laboratory Information System) uses an event-mesh trigger to notify phlebotomy of new orders. Reports are stored in JSON-B format to handle varying test parameters.
Technical Architecture
| Field | Type | Institutional Role |
|---|---|---|
| report_id | UUID | Unique diagnostic report identifier. |
| sample_barcode | Varchar(64) | Physical sample mapping code. |
| result_data | JSONB | Structured test values and reference ranges. |
| certifying_doc_id | UUID | Institutional ID of the signing consultant. |
Note: Data is subject to Enclave AES-256 field-level encryption where applicable.

Critical Alerting
Test results falling outside the defined 'Critical Band' trigger a high-priority system alert to the ordering physician and the ward nurse simultaneously.
LIS Interfacing
HMIS Pro interfaces directly with automated analyzers, pulling raw result data without manual entry, reducing transcription error rates to zero.
PACS Sync
Radiology images (DICOM) are linked to specific diagnostic reports and can be viewed directly from the patient vault with deep-zoom capability.
Regulatory Integrity: 100% of reports are cryptographically signed.
